Using Social Media As A Research Tool

Get to know your niche patients down to a ‘T’ by using social media as a research tool.

I wanted to share some insight with you that will help you fill your schedule and get more dental patients to your office and its right under your nose. You probably look at it every day and you don’t even know it is a valuable tool that could be helping you.

It’s social media. Now, I am not talking in the context of posting to your dental office page and keeping that up to date. I’m talking about using dental social media as a marketing research tool. It can provide you with invaluable insight into your patient’s heads if you let it.

Never in our history have we had this type of insight before. Social media has really pulled back the curtains on your patients’ likes, dislikes, and frustrations. Everyone shares everything these days and it allows you to get to know your patients down to a ‘T’.

I want you to use social media to eavesdrop on what’s going on in your patients’ heads. You don’t even need to interact, just sit back and listen. What are their frustrations, not just about their teeth but also in their life? This will allow you to see what is going on and use their specific concerns in your marketing. So when they see your ad or post it’s almost like you’re talking directly to them, because you are.No matter the demographic of your ideal patient, you can find sources to follow and pay attention to what will give you some amazing insight on them. Pay attention to how they phrase things and their verbiage and use it in your marketing. This will help you be more relationship friendly with your patients, which in turn will give you patients for life. When you watch my video, you will get examples on how to find your ideal patients, whether that be families, seniors, or specific local businesses. We work on these types of things personally and specifically in my private dental coaching group.
