The Power Of Following Up

Increasing your conversions by simply following up with your patients.

Once upon a time……how many times have you heard a story start like that before?

There was once a time for dental practices that if you were a good enough dentist clinically, patients just came to you.  It was no issue at all getting people to come in.

Or maybe along the road, you realized things were changing and you ran a newspaper ad or some type of marketing, to get patients to come in.   And that would work for you.  You run one basic ad in the newspaper and it got the results you wanted.

Well unfortunately those days are gone.  Zero marketing or the ole ‘one and done’ marketing isn’t cutting it for anyone anymore, especially for dentists.

With the new age of technology, changes in consumer behaviors, and people being so busy, you need to work harder than ever to compete with everything else fighting for their attention.

Recent studies have shown it takes 18 points of contact and research for someone to make even the simplest decision now.  So before they can even decide on a toothpaste, they are doing research, talking to friends, reading reviews… all of these things.  Come on!  It’s just toothpaste.

You can imagine when it comes to a bigger decision like choosing a dentist?  It is really taking a lot consideration for them.

This is a new problem that lots of businesses are having a hard time adjusting to, not just the dental world.

People aren’t ‘married’ to you as their dentist after only one encounter anymore.  So you have to do something to not only get their attention, but to keep their attention.  And the way to do that is by using the power of following up.

You probably already have some type of marketing system in place to attract new patients, so why not add a couple steps to that process so that you really see some results.  Because the worst thing is spending a bunch of money on marketing and getting no results out of it.

If you want to increase your conversions (which I know you do!) you need to include follow up systems.  Watch the video where I explain what exactly you need to start doing to get more people choosing your practice.  And the best part, it will cost you little to nothing.

In this video, you’ll learn about:

  • How many points of contact it takes for consumers to make a decision
  • Adjusting to the changing times
  • How to increase your conversion with the power of follow up
Please take a few minutes and watch the video above– do it for you and for your practice.
I wish you nothing but success,
