Talking to One Person in Your Marketing Message

Dr. Ginger Bratzel talks about the importance of making a personal connection by having a conversation directed towards a specific audience, one person.

“YOU” is a powerful word.  When we get individual attention, it makes us feel special.  We like to be treated as a person and not lumped together as a group.

Marketing is a connection, a relationship.  And when you’re marketing to anybody, you are having a conversation with just one person.

So whether you are making a video, writing a letter, or an audio marketing piece, make sure you are targeting a specific audience of one. This makes you easier to relate to and will benefit your practice in more ways than you think.

Draft out what your marketing message is going to be, then have someone go over it again just to make sure all your tenses are direct and only apply to your single person audience. This will increase your response and as a result, grow your practice.

In this video, you’ll learn about:
  • Speaking to one person
  • How to be relatable
  • The importance of the word “YOU”
