Control “Freak” or Not?

Be A Community Leader…Not Just A Dentist

Dr. Ginger Bratzel discusses the role and responsibility as a dentist to

be a good leader of your community in good times and in bad.

During the next 6 weeks I will bring you a series that will help you grow your practice, have a better life and achieve all the goals that you want to do. I titled this series as “Six C’s of Growing Your Business”.

The first “C” that I want to share to you today is “COMPASSION and COMMUNITY” because those C’s go together.

Recently, our news has been rocked by tragic events that have traumatized our nation as well as our communities.

With all the things that have happened recently, we have to be aware how we can reach out to those people.

According to surveys, dentists are ranked as one of  the most trusted and compassionate professions.  And when ‘bad’ things happen, the community often looks to the dental professionals for advice and guidance.

Ideas Without Accountability

Dr. Ginger Bratzel discusses how to be accountable with your ideas and be successful with it.

During my recent Dental Practice Evolution and Mindset event, we did some exciting exercises to focus on each practices ‘Big Ideas.’  We tried to dream bigger and push the self imposed limits to have some awesome breakthroughs. While everyone was so excited and came away with something great when I asked them the question which arose after all that of “How to make sure your ideas happen?”, it got very quiet.

It is frightening to have to figure out how you are going to get what you want done, but necessary.  Without accountability, we have nothing to make sure we achieve what we intended to achieve.  It is a measurement of our success.

Results From Marketing Mojo

When we talk about all the systems, the components, the points and the pieces in growing your practice, I call that “Marketing Mojo”

But what really is Marketing Mojo?

In marketing, there is really one intention:  to grow your practice. And I’m always using the analogy of weight loss and fitness to demonstrate the parts of making that happen.

Weight loss, just like dental practice growth, is compromised of many different, but common, principles to help us achieve our ultimate goal.  But unlike weight loss, we view dental practice growth very differently in our expectations of how things should occur.

Your “BIG” Why

Dr. Ginger Bratzel discusses how knowing “Your Big Why” will help you enjoy your life and be successful in your dental practice.

To start  the New Year, a lot of people have big plans, big intentions and ,of course, goal setting. But all these things are empty shells without “The Big WHY” behind them.

Why are you doing what you want to do?

Why are you in the profession you are in?

“To make a good living” is not enough of a reason for you to fulfill your purpose.

Without clear intentions and motivations, results tend to be hampered.  In the course of building a business over time, ‘The Why’ tends to be forgotten.   Going back to that will help you to plan and keep on track what you really want to accomplish not only in your practice, but in your personal life.

It is necessary to know those things for you to do what makes you happy and successful.
