Not Using The Silver Bullet

Dr. Ginger Bratzel talks about ignoring the magic silver bullet, and focusing on the big picture.

I get some variation of this question all the time, during live events, phone calls, and private meetings with dentists from all over, so I wanted to share it with you this week.

I always get asked, ‘Ginger, what should I be doing right now?  Give me the magic bullet.’

Unfortunately, it isn’t that simple. I wish life were full of short cuts to the prize, but it doesn’t always work out that way.  Those quick, one step actions are called tactics and the problem with them is they give you a limited time frame and a limited reference point to use them for a positive results.  They are cookie cutter answers and are only helpful sometimes.

Tactics are limited, they have an end, but strategies are infinite, they will go with you forever.

The good news is if you are wanting the magic bullet then that means you are wanting to learn new tools and strategies to grow your dental practice.  But instead of focusing on the magic bullet, I want to you focus on big picture thinking and strategies that are specific to you and your dental practice.

It isn’t about the mass produced, one solution fits all, answer.  I want you to find the custom made solution that fits you, your niche patient, and your business.  The key is establishing a unique selling proposition, and you can do that by looking at the 30,000 foot big picture.

In this video, you’ll learn about:

  • Tactics vs Strategy
  • The magic bullet isn’t always the answer
  • Strategies specific to you and your practice
Please take a few minutes and watch the video above– do it for you and for your practice.
