Lessons from Disney: Selling Bigger Ticket Items

Dr. Ginger Bratzel talks about setting your prices
based on their value and not selling yourself short.

I recently visited Disneyland and the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. I want to share with you business tips from Disney that can easily be incorporated into your dental practice.

When you visit Star Wars land, you can now build your own droid starting at around $100. As you keep walking back through the store, you’ll notice a life-size R2D2 on display and available for purchase. Guess how much it costs?! $25,000. Would you pay that price tag to have a new remote-controlled hunk of metal? No, not you? Someone out there will pay it and it will surely become a collector’s item.
