Increasing Your Exposure On Facebook

Facebook is the cheapest and easiest place you can get exposure for your practice right now.

I have been doing a lot of trainings, courses, and even events solely focusing on Facebook lately.  And out of those trainings, I feel this topic is probably the easiest place to start, while also increasing your exposure on Facebook.

Facebook is an effective tool for any business, it doesn’t matter what trade you are in and who your target audience is, to get more customers, clients, or patients.  So to get more patients for your dental practice, you definitely need to be using Facebook and make sure it’s working effectively for you.

Facebook is the cheapest and easiest way to get exposure for your business right now and the tip I’m about to share will cost you absolutely zero dollars to do.

If you look at your Page along the top there is a large rectangle picture and this is called your cover photo.  This area is the prime piece of real estate for your page.  It is essentially setting the tone of patients’ (current and future) first impression of your office.  This area is the best way to give your practice personality.  While, you may think this area is only a place for your logo, that isn’t necessarily the case.  By putting creative photos on there it really sets the tone for the type of practice you are to your patients.

Not to overwhelm you but you should really be updating your cover photo every month.  At the beginning of each month, snap a quick photo of your team with some type of theme for that month.  January could be New Years, February could be Valentines Day, March is St. Patty’s Day, and so on…

It doesn’t have to be a big production, gather the team and have somebody snap a picture on their phone.  (A little behind the scenes insight – Facebook likes this and will promote your page more.  Their algorithm favors businesses who are keeping their page current and updating pictures often.)  This will not only help your relationship with Facebook but also with your patients, because it will give your office personality and really make you stand out from other dental offices

When you watch the video, make sure to pay attention because I give you the key that makes this whole process really blow out of the water by getting you optimal exposure and get you more viral shares.
