Resetting Your Focus

Dr. Ginger Bratzel talks about hitting the reset button on your patient focus.

This week’s video is something that I think every dentist, no matter his or her practice type, would benefit from watching.  I’m talking about reframing your focus. This not only means your focus on running a business but also your focus for your patients.

I always talk about knowing your ‘who’.  But if you have been in practice for a while, maybe it’s time to step back and reevaluate your ‘who’.  I hear a lot about how everything seemed to change in 2008.  There was a shift in the economy and the middle class is now smaller.  If you are an average bread and butter dentist, your patient market has gotten much smaller.  A result of that means your market has become more competitive.  Even though that is what is happening, I want you to shape your practice to avoid that competition.
