Avoiding getting taken advantage of by dental service companies and how you can get the same results (or better) with pennies on the dollar.

I attend tons of dental meetings throughout the year. And as I’m walking the floor eyeing all the booths selling products to dentists for their offices, I find myself getting upset. Upset because I see my fellow dentists are getting taken advantage of, sadly because we are considered ‘easy targets’.
Let me explain…
Dentists are used to paying high dollar for dental equipment, lab bills, technology, etc. This is expected. You are getting high dollar, technically advanced equipment, they are naturally going to have large price tags. The problem is that dentists are used to paying those types of prices for items to treat patients, so when you see services for growing your business appear, you are equally willing to pay at the same high dollar because that’s what you’re used to. Services like websites, managing social media accounts, getting Google reviews automatically have a high multiplication factor added on it if they are trying to sell to dentists.

I want to give you a consumer alert message and help protect your wallet. I want to make sure you are no longer are getting cheated on your next practice growth purchase. All of these monthly services can easily add up to tens of thousands of dollars or more and you don’t really realize how much money they are taking from you until you step back and look at the numbers. And the biggest kicker is when these expensive services aren’t yielding the type of results you are paying for.
Which is why when I work with my private clients one of the first things I look over is all their monthly practice growth expenses to see what can be combined or cut out all together, saving them thousands of dollars a month. I begin with jump starting their cash flow so they can focus on the other means of growth.
This is where a coaching program is so beneficial because you have outside expert eyes to help you connect the systems and get results by someone who has your best interest at heart.
Investing your practice is always a great idea, but you have to make sure it’s on things that are getting results. Because when you save money, you are making money. So don’t allow yourself to be an easy target anymore by having your consumer guard up.
