Sometimes you just have to let go to allow yourself to become a winner.

This topic came to mind when we were packing our materials for a recent Mastermind meeting that I hold several times a year for my private dental coaching clients so I wanted to share it with you.
We were packing a wooden letter ‘M’ that I bring and display to my clients during each meeting. Now I’m sure you’re confused as to what a painted letter ‘M’ has to do with growing your dental practice so let me explain…
As we go through life things just happen, it’s called life for a reason. As time goes on team members come and go, maybe there’s a big change in the economy, life event happens in our personal lives, etc… I could go on and on. All of these things effect you and your practice over time. And while you can’t control what life throws at you, I do want to help you learn to jump over the hurdles and keep moving forward.

You get stuck in this little area that I like to call the Martyr. Over time, as things change you tend to stack on more and more limited thoughts and actions. ‘I can’t do that’, ‘I tried that in the past and it didn’t work’, ‘I don’t want to be too salesy to my patients’, and on and on.
But you take these definitions of yourself and they start to define you. You will find yourself carrying the ‘M’ on your back and it’s slowing you down and holding you back from achieving your practice’s full success.
But as easy as you started holding that ‘M’ you can just as easily turn it around into a ‘W’ for Winner. Your mistakes are not you. They are things that happen to you, but they do not define you as a person or a dentist.
In the video, I tell you how you can learn to let go of the old and learn to start each day anew. I explain how you can easily turn your ‘M’ into a ‘W’ and become a winner in your practice and in life.
In this video, you’ll learn about:
- How to become a Winner in your practice
- How being the Martyr is slowing you down
- You always have the choice to change
