I’ve been thinking about this week’s topic for a while and I felt it was time to address it.
You hear a lot about ‘mindset’ and ‘getting your mindset right’ to make changes happen, I use that terminology a lot myself. And the reason I’ve been focusing on this topic lately is because, in talking with my clients and other dentists, I have found that instead of motivating them to move them forward, it has been slowing them down.
As a dentist, we are thinkers and problem solvers by nature. We are already in our heads a lot, just by our nature. But we need to ‘get out of our heads’ more and start focusing on what your gut is telling you.

It’s something you can feel viscerally. While your head can be filled with many limiting beliefs and doubts, there is something physical with your gut that is hard to ignore.
Which is why I wanted to make this week’s video for you. To take you a little off the path of the typical mindset teaching and tell you sometimes you should just listen to your gut.
