Four toxic beliefs that are keeping you small.
A lot of times when dentists reach out to me it isn’t when things are going good. They are looking at dental marketing as a possible tool to resolve the situation.
It’s when their business isn’t doing so great and they come to me for help; ‘how do I get more dental patients?’, ‘how do I keep my schedule full?’ But about 99% of the time after asking what they feel is causing the problem I get what I’ve termed ‘the list’ and almost everything on that list is the out of their control.
That is why I am here to bring you four toxic beliefs that are keeping you small and holding you back from where you want to be in your dental practice. But I have good news, it is under your control and you can change it.
I want to start by letting you in on some insight — the only thing you can control is you. Your interpretation of the situation is more powerful than anything else.

The next toxic belief is that there is always work involved with change. Just like getting in shape requires exercise, it takes some effort. The kickback I get from this is I don’t have time or I’m too busy. I want you to know there is (and should be) always time for improvement. If you want to grow, you must make it a priority to make time for growth.
I want you to get the full effect of the last two toxic beliefs so I want you to take a few minutes to watch the video. I know you will find both of them very insightful and powerful. So much so I am willing to bet you will want to watch this video a second time after you let the first time simmer a bit.
In this video, you’ll learn about:
- You are in control of yourself
- 4 toxic beliefs you need to let go of
- Your interpretation of the situation is more powerful than anything else
