Dr. Ginger Bratzel talks about the importance of using your energy on things that really matter in your dental practice and in life.
I think any adult, juggling a career and a family will benefit from this week’s topic, which is why I really wanted to share it with you. I’m talking about how you spend your energy. We all only have so many hours in the day and only so much gas in our tank to get us there. So, I want you to take a look at what you are spending your valued energy on for a minute.
I will say with most businesses, even outside of the dental industry, you are spending most of your energy on things you shouldn’t be.
Think about how much time on an average day is spent getting caught up in the doom and gloom of the news, the front-page story of the newspaper or Facebook dramas of how perfect everyone’s life is. These are all minor things, you may not even realize, that add up and are taking away from our energy.

If you think about this in your dental practice – where should you be spending your time and energy? The biggest portion of your energy should go towards your most important task. Take a couple minutes to watch this video I made to help you reserve your energy where it is needed most and how to use it wisely. Don’t waste anymore of your valued time, resources, or manpower on things that really don’t matter. I want you to have less crabby dentist days and to have more happy dentist days!
