The Power Of Brainstorming

Dr. Ginger Bratzel talks about the steps to take during your brainstorming session to create positive change in your dental practice.

I received inspiration for this week’s video topic when I received a photo from one of my clients, where they showed me visually how they were problem-solving in their office to get them to the next level.  I enjoyed this picture because it illustrates utilizing one of the first (and biggest) strategies we work on in my mastermind group.

In the picture they were working on the end of year wrap up, sometimes called a post-mortem.  A meeting where you list where you are and where you want to be (which is a great way to wrap up a year by the way).  The first step is to have a brainstorming session, and write down every little thing that comes to mind, big or small.

The reason this first step is so critical and powerful is because once you have your list, you then go through and categorize your list into groups.  Now, all of a sudden your massive 1001-things-to-do list is broken down into a manageable handful of things-to-do list.  Looking for patterns, scaling down your massive problems and delegating things accordingly is kind of like hitting the reset button in your business.

In this week’s video, I break this brainstorming session down step-by-step for you.  Detailing exactly what you need to do and how to do it.  This will help you turn huge problems into small ones and help you get to the next level in your dental practice.

In this video, you’ll learn about:

  • The power of a brainstorming session
  • How to turn huge problems into small ones
  • Problem solving strategies to get your practice to the next level
Please take a few minutes and watch the video above– do it for you and for your practice.
