Dr. Ginger Bratzel talks about why you should avoid being just like every dentist on the block.
I have held and attended many, many events and meetings with fellow dentists and there is common theme I have noticed that occurs when you get a bunch of dentist together. So I wanted to make this week’s video about a topic that you should really avoid in your dental practice. I’m talking about participating in the ‘me too’ mentality.
If I conducted a survey in a room full of dentists and ask they raise their hands if they perform a list of 10 different procedures, 80% of the room will raise their hands to all of the above. This is what I don’t want to happen to you. You’re not doing anything to set yourself out from the crowd; you’re participating in the me-too mentality.

I want you to find your niche, your custom audience, or your specialty. Find something that makes you unique so that you stand out from the crowd. I already know you’re a great dentist but it’s hard to compete when you’re not doing anything to set yourself apart.
